5 Small Changes That Will Improve Your Life

Recently I have started talking about mindset shifts here on the blog - while this topic is always sprinkled into my YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram content I'd like to dedicate a moment to further discussing ways to improve your life and your Kingdom once you understand Velocity Banking and have your finances in order.

We all know that maintaining a firm understanding of your finances removes many stressors from the average person's life - many people who have all of that under control still don't have their Kingdom in order. So, let's talk about 5 things you can work on every day that will help put your Kingdom in order:

  1. Find Your Rhythm: As entrepreneurs and business owners, many of us forget where the lines of our work and home lives begin and end. Set clear boundaries for yourself and the people you love so that there is a clear understanding of when work begins and ends - there are exceptions to this rule (it's also good to have guidelines for what those exceptions are).

  2. Stop Comparing Yourself to Others: I've talked about taking a step back and not comparing yourself to the Joneses on my channel before, and it still holds true. There is always going to be someone who has a better paying job, lives in a nicer house, or drives a fancier car. The crazy thing is they could just as easily be looking at your life wishing theirs looked more like that.

  3. Express Gratitude: Learn more about Gratitude Mindset Here (Link to Gratitude Blog)

  4. Eat well and Exercise: Yes I know I combined two here, but "6 Small Changes that will Improve Your Life" doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well. Plus eating better and your level of physical activity go hand in hand - when was the last time you ate a Big Mac then went for a run? Even if it's just a 10-minute walk or an extra 30 minutes away from your desk running errands, getting up and moving releases endorphins and makes you a happier, more productive person.

  5. Challenge yourself: If you are just starting down the road of Velocity Banking my first challenge to you is to know your numbers - check your accounts every day and know what's going in and out like the back of your hand. If you've been on this path for a while, try to challenge yourself to something that will help fill you up (learning another language, or instrument others might be fulfilled my reading more or continuing their education through classes and seminars).

I want to know which of these changes you've decided to make! Find my 5 Changes post on Instagram or Facebook and comment if you've picked one of the above or come up with your own.

I can't wait to hear from you!
